Hi, I’m Michele!

I am a positive thinker with a passion to help others live their best lives. I am a wife, mother, and grandma (my four grandkiddos call me Nannie). I live in Kansas City, love the beach, and dance whenever I get a chance!

I enjoyed a career in sales management for 40 years, and when I lost that job after a corporate merger, I decided I wanted to do something different… I wanted to help others and do my best to make a positive difference in my corner of the world.

I had this feeling I wanted to make a change many years ago; however, I was stuck. You know, thoughts like I am too old to start something new now, what about the money, what would I do anyway? I could not see the road to somewhere else… until the road I was on came to an end.

I always loved coaching my team, and I love helping others. I had recently become aware of the Jay Shetty Coaching School and even joked that if I lost my job, I would become a life coach. Manifest my destiny! I lost my job and signed up to take classes to become a certified coach. I became certified in May 2021.

While it was thrilling to learn the new coaching material, I did not expect it to be so difficult to say goodbye to something that was so important to me for so long. In an instant, I was no longer part of a community I’d been in for more than half my life. It is so easy for our identity to become the role we play every day.

I work every day to let go of my past life and create a completely different one because it is so easy to fall into old habits. Getting to know me without the job has been a journey. I am more present with my friends and family, I volunteer, I watch my grandkids frequently, and I get to help others when they are stuck like I used to be… when they know deep within they want a change but just aren’t quite sure what to do or how to make it happen.

I truly believe we have the answers within us that will set us free and allow us to create the life we want and to be our true, authentic selves.
